A Smile of Hope

Rosa, a rose in bloom, so fair and bright, A smile that lit the way, through morning's light.

From third-grade halls, to life's later stage,

Her radiant grin, turned every page.

With laughter and joy, she'd chase the night,

And fill our hearts, with pure delight.

Her smile, a work of art, so divine and true,

A masterpiece, that shone, in all she'd do.

But then, brain cancer's shadow, fell her way,

And stole her light, in a fleeting day.

Leaving us, with tears, and a hollowed space,

A sorrow, that time, cannot erase.

Yet still, her smile, forever we'll hold,

A memory, that never grows old,

A beacon of hope, in life's darkest night, Guiding us on, with its gentle light.

Rosa, dear friend, your smile will stay, Etched in our hearts, each and everyday,

Though you're gone, your memory remains,

A bittersweet reminder, of life's precious pains.

Rest now, dear Rosa, in eternal peace, Your smile, forever, our hearts will release.
