A Warrior for Life

Five years of love, of laughter and of tears, Shattered in an instant, by deceitful fears.

Your infidelity, a wound that cut so deep, Left me bleeding, my heart in shattered sleep.

But as I rise from the ashes, like a phoenix born, I realize your betrayal, will not leave me torn.

For in the darkness, I've found a spark within,

A flame of strength, that will guide me to begin.

The pain you caused, will fuel my soul's fire, Melting fears, and forging a heart that aspires.

To rise above the heartache, to learn and to grow,

To find my voice, my power, and let my spirit glow.

Your mistake, a lesson learned, a chance to start anew,

A opportunity to rediscover, the strength that's always been true.

I'll take this shattered heart, and mold it into gold,

A symbol of resilience, a story to be told.

So thank you for the pain, for the heartache and the strife, For in the end, it's made me stronger, a warrior for life.
