Thanksgiving Night

On Thanksgiving night a spark took flight

A new friendship born, that very night.

You entered my life with a warm, gentle smile,

And since that moment, joy has lingered awhile.

Your presence is a gift, a treasure so rare,

A friend who brings laughter, and banishes all fear.

When we're together, my heart feels at home,

A sense of belonging, a friendship that's grown.

Our adventure to Vermont, a memory to share,

A winter wonderland, with Christmas lights to spare.

We strolled through the snowy night, Soaking in the magic, of the festive lights.

In your company, I find my happy place, A sense of peace, a warmth that time won't erase.

You're a kindred spirit, a friend with all heart,

A treasure I cherish, a friendship that will never depart.

So here's to our friendship, a bond that's strong and true,

A connection that's deepened, with each passing day.

I'm grateful for you, for the laughter and the fun,

For the memories we will create this summer, one adventure at a time, under the sun.
